Caution Children, Radio the Ape, Tundra Toes, Dandy Little Lions and Sixteen Sixteen are featured in one western NY's premier music magazines, 20 Watts. So Radio The Ape just had the opportunity to fly to Los Angeles and perform on Santa Monica for the International Day of Peace music festival. The fest is put on by Roots & Shoots, a program started by the Jane Goodall Institute intended to mobilize worldwide youth to carry out service projects for the betterment of humanity. So our album is finally done. We're super excited about that. Here are some details about it. We began recording on March 11th, 2009. The first song we recorded was Cradle Baby and the last song was recorded on March 27th, 2009, which was Render Unto Caesar. All the songs were recorded live @ 1616, and we used minimal overdubs. So, it's September. We didn't play too many shows this past summer, but the ones we did play were a blast. A highlight was what I think was our first show ever, in the living room of Steve's house in Ithaca. It was weird when people knew our songs...
