I'm currently sitting on Chris Ploss' futon couch/bed, watching him make the final touches on the Fluxus album. We're calling it Cargoes of Empire.

It sounds really good. Sometimes I don't think it's us actually performing it. We recorded it in March of 2008, we started on the 11th (a day before my birthday) and finished on the 27th. All of the songs were recorded in the living room of our apartment, which is pretty incredible if you ask me. Well, I'm biased.

Anyway, the mixing has taken a while, but that's okay. Chris has been busy producing and mixing other bands and we've been working hard on this site. The songs themselves sound super profesh, and it will be good to be done with it.

We've reformed Fluxus and we're practicing a lot. We're really excited to play some shows, so you can hear what we sound like now, post Cargoes of Empire.
